Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Shift Engineer for a food manufacturing site in Shaftesbury, Dorset. You will join a stable operation on a 4 on 4 off pattern and receive structured training to broaden skills across maintenance, boilers, and PLCs.

You will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on site plant, support engineering decisions, and contribute to improvement projects while mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical biased maintenance with some multi-skilled capability.
• Willingness to learn and develop technically through training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support across site plant and production equipment.
• Support operations with engineering decisions when senior cover is not on-site.
• Assist with project work and share knowledge to support apprentices within the team.
