Job summary

INTEC SELECT LIMITED is seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to keep systems running smoothly and support projects such as ERP implementation and on-premise to cloud transformation. The role is based in Maidstone, Kent with a 5% bonus potential and a salary of £40,000–£45,000.

You will troubleshoot, resolve issues, and support business-critical projects, ensuring colleagues have the tools they need to succeed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support or service function, 3rd Line experience required.
• ERP management capability (COINS or Netsuite preferred).
• Experience with Windows Server (2012-2016), Veeam backups, and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange).
• Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems support.
• Manage helpdesk queries, escalate where needed, drive issues to resolution.
• Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure.
• Set up new sites, user accounts, and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations.

3rd Line IT Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team and play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly and delivering on a number of interesting projects, network refresh, ERP implementation, on - premise to cloud transformation and the integration of a new ticketing system.

Our client is looking to pay between £40,000 to £45,000 circa, to be based in Maidstone, Kent with additional benefits including a 5% bonus potential.
You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting business-critical projects, ensuring our colleagues have the tools they need to succeed.

What you'll do:

• Provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems.
• Manage helpdesk enquiries, escalating where needed and seeing issues through to resolution.
• Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure.
• Set up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support or service function with experience in a 3rd Line Support position is a must have.
• ERP management capabilites (ideally COINS or Netsuite)
• Technical expertise in Server Maintenance (2012 to 2016), Backups (Veeam) and Network Infrastructure is a must have
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange).
• Confident, customer-focused problem solver with excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
