Job summary

Tektora is seeking a DV-cleared 3rd Line Storage and PKI Engineer to join a Defence-focused IT provider in Hampshire/Basingstoke. The role is on a rotating shift, five days per week on client sites with periodic travel to other sites.

You will handle PKI and storage support, respond to escalations, participate in change control, and document procedures while working in a secure, change-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• UK Sole National with active DV Clearance.
• Storage solutions experience (Dell Avamar, Data Domain).
• Public key technologies (Microsoft, Thales).
• Cloud infrastructure storage experience.
• VMware cloud technologies.
• Willing to work a rotating shift pattern and travel.

Responsibilities

• Responding to escalations from 2nd Line and completing daily checks.
• Maintaining and supporting the PKI solution.
• Attending PKI activities, requiring travel to other sites several days a month.
• Maintaining and supporting the backup and storage solution, providing timely updates to the Operations Lead.
• Carrying out planned activities through a Change Management process.
• Monitoring the system using Event Management tooling and responding to incidents through the Incident process.
• Triaging incidents and escalating through the Service Management team.
• Carrying out readiness assessments for new releases entering service from the Engineering team.
• Producing and maintaining documentation such as work instructions and patching schedules.

Location: Hampshire – Basingstoke, 5 days per week on customer site, with periodic travel to other customer sites
Working Pattern: Shift working, 0700–1500 and 1100–1900 on a rotating pattern

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage and PKI Engineers for a contract opportunity supporting a high profile user community on a high level government account.

This role would suit someone with strong storage and public key infrastructure support experience who is comfortable within a change-controlled secure environment and is looking to develop further across cloud storage and PKI delivery.

The Role
