Job summary

Tektora is seeking a DV Cleared Senior ITSM Engineer for a contract role to support a leading Defence and National Security IT provider. You will work on secure, large-scale ITSM deployments across hybrid environments.

The role requires extensive ITSM tooling installation and configuration experience, with exposure to cloud, on-premises and hybrid setups, and strong reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• DV clearance is required for UK Sole National access.
• Extensive installation, configuration and customization of ITSM tooling.
• Experience in secure, large-scale environments and defence programmes.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of an Agile team reporting into the Senior ITSM Tooling Architect.
• Producing build documentation for the installation and configuration of ITSM tooling solutions.
• Installing, configuring and customising ITSM, ITIL and Service Desk tooling of varying size and complexity.
• Implementing highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling solutions.
• Delivering across cloud, on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Working within ITSM, ITOM, ITIL and eTOM processes.
• Supporting integration with core infrastructure capabilities including Windows Server, Active Directory and SQL.
• Producing scripting, reporting and data manipulation to support the tooling estate.

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared Senior ITSM Engineers for a contract opportunity supporting the customer's digital transformation priorities.

This role would suit someone with extensive ITSM tooling installation and configuration experience who has worked within secure, large-scale environments and is looking to develop further across highly resilient hybrid cloud ITSM delivery.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Working as part of an Agile team reporting into the Senior ITSM Tooling Architect
• Producing build documentation for the installation and configuration of ITSM tooling solutions
• Installing, configuring and customising ITSM, ITIL and Service Desk tooling of varying size and complexity
• Implementing highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling solutions

• Working within the bounds of ITSM, ITOM, ITIL and eTOM processes
• Supporting integration with core infrastructure capabilities including Windows Server, Active Directory and SQL
• Producing scripting, reporting and data manipulation to support the tooling estate

Key Experience Required

• UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
• Extensive installation, configuration and customisation experience across ITSM tooling such as CA Service Desk Manager, BMC Remedy, BMC Helix, ServiceNow, Cherwell, Freshworks or ManageEngine
• Extensive experience working within ITSM, ITOM, ITIL or eTOM processes
• Experience implementing highly secure, highly resilient, large scale ITSM tooling for cloud, on-premises and hybrid solutions
• Working knowledge of Windows Server technologies, Active Directory and Group Policies
• Working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server clustering
• Working knowledge of PKI infrastructure and certificate management
• ITIL v4 certification
• Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Prior delivery within a Defence or National Security programme
