Tektora is seeking a DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage Support Engineer for a contract role on a high-profile government account.

The role focuses on backing up and maintaining storage solutions, event monitoring, triage, and close collaboration with a team, while traveling to client sites as needed in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• UK Sole National with active DV Clearance.
• Experience with Dell EMC storage Avamar and Data Domain.
• Experience with Event Management tooling such as SCOM.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Willing to work a shift pattern and travel to customer sites.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PKI.
• Familiarity with ITSM tooling and processes.
• Prior delivery within a secure/Defence environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support backup and storage solutions to ensure high data availability.
• Conduct daily checks of the backup/storage solution.
• Monitor Event Management tooling with triage and escalation.
• Assist a high-profile user community with daily contact with customers and stakeholders.
• Work through the IT Service Management toolset.
• Produce documentation and maintain lifecycle management of the product.
• Collaborate with a team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers.
• Travel to other customer sites as required.

Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage Support Engineers for a contract opportunity on a high level government account.

This role would suit someone with a backup and storage support background who is comfortable with event monitoring, triage and escalation in a secure environment and is looking to develop further across lifecycle management and disaster recovery.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Maintaining and supporting the backup and storage solution to allow high availability of data in the event of loss or disaster recovery
• Conducting daily checks of the solution
• Monitoring Event Management tooling, with triage and escalation critical to the role
• Assisting a high profile user community with daily contact with customers and stakeholders
• Working through the IT Service Management toolset
• Producing documentation and maintaining the product's lifecycle management
• Working alongside an established team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers
• Travelling to other customer sites as required
