Job summary

Active Personnel in Telford is seeking a Recruitment Consultant (Perms or Temps) with a proven billing history to join the branch. The role covers all aspects of the 360 recruitment process across industrial, engineering, and commercial sectors and allows full autonomy to run your own desk.

You’ll develop client bases, source candidates, and manage interviews and closures, with a high-commission structure and clear career progression within a large independent recruiter with 65+ UK branches.

ROLE..360 Perms Recruitment Consultant or Temps Recruitment Consultant- any sector where you have had billing success- ideally Industrial, Engineering, or Commercial sector's

Salary

SALARY.. 30k to 35K basic with an excellent commission structure of 10% MINIMUUM of everything you bill

My client are a large sized independent recruiter and have more than 65 branches around the UK, and are now seeking ambitious perm or temp recruiters to join them in their successful Telford branch which is Branch of the year!!

The successful applicants can recruit into any sector however the Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, and Commercial markets are of interest and the ideal candidate must have had previous success at building and managing their own desk and have a strong billing history.

You will join my clients established Telford branch and predominately focus on the temps or perms markets and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact whilst having full autonomy of your desk.

What You'll Be Doing

• Full 360 Recruitment Process: Engage in every aspect of recruitment business development and client acquisition to job briefings, candidate sourcing, interviews, offer negotiations and deal closures.
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilise job boards, referrals, and headhunting via platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter. Source candidates via advertising, job boards, social media and referrals. Register and interview candidates, conduct background checks, and match them with job opportunities. Prepare and promote candidates for interviews, ensuring roles are filled promptly.
• Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, offering exceptional service and advice. Network and build relationships with clients to drive sales.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure branch success and maximise cross-selling opportunities
