Job summary

Centric Talent is recruiting for a Multi-Drop Van Driver (3.5 Tonne) in Waltham Abbey on a permanent, full-time basis. Salary £33,800 with a £300 monthly performance bonus (£3,600 yearly), potential earnings up to £37,400.

The role offers guaranteed 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts, and full training with progression opportunities in a busy distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• At least 6 months' commercial experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding motorway network.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
• Willingness to carry out regular manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Complete between 10 and 30 scheduled deliveries per day to retailers and merchants.
• Drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle safely and professionally.
• Load your vehicle before departure.
• Load and unload products, including regular manual handling.
• Obtain proof of delivery using photographs and relevant paperwork.
• Carry out daily pre- and post-vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of your vehicle.
• Refuel vehicles when required.
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents.
• Assist with unloading vehicles at the end of your shift.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery.

The Role

As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will be responsible for:

About You

We're looking for professional, reliable drivers who take pride in their work.

You will need:

• A full UK Driving Licence
• At least 6 months' commercial experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle
• Luton van driving experience preferred
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements
• Good knowledge of London and the surrounding motorway network
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• A willingness to carry out regular manual handling as part of the role
