Job summary

GXO is seeking a dedicated Van Driver (3.5t) at Wembley on IKEA contract. You will deliver furniture to customer homes across North/Northwest London and nearby areas, working a 48-hour week on a 5-on/3-off rota with shifts between 6:00am and 8:30am.

The role offers a full-time permanent contract with opportunities to upskill to Class 2 HGV, pension, and wellbeing programs, plus extensive discounts and driver recognition. Join us to grow with a market-leading logistics team.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Reliability, good communication and teamwork.
• Physically able to lift/move items.
• Multi-drop experience useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customers' homes with care and great service to represent GXO and IKEA.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries, between single and 2-person teams.
• Cover deliveries in North and Northwest London areas and North of London (e.g., Stevenage, High Wycombe).
• Check vehicle and stock security; report defects.
• Carry out vehicle checks at start/end of shifts.

At GXO, we're expanding and looking for dedicated drivers to join our energetic team at Wembley, working on our IKEA contract. As a 3.5t Van Driver you will be delivering furniture items for IKEA to customer homes.

This is a full time, permanent role you will be working 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota with start times between 6:00am and 8:30am.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Working as a Van Driver you'll be delivering to customers' homes with care, professionalism and great service - representing GXO and IKEA
• Multi drop deliveries vary between single person and 2-person team
• Delivering in the North and Northwest London areas and the area North of London, like Stevenage and High Wycombe
• Ensuring vehicle and stock is properly secured
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid driving licence (max 6 points)

• Physical capability to lift/move items
