Job summary

GXO Logistics in Dartford, Kent, is recruiting a 3.5t Van Driver to deliver IKEA furniture across London. This full-time role offers a 48-hour week on an 8-week rota with a 5 on/3 off pattern and a start time of 5:00am.

Salary is £36,817.06 per year with 28 days holiday, pension, and opportunities to upskill to Class 2 HGV with GXO Driving Academy. Benefits include extensive discounts and driver recognition.

At GXO, we're expanding and looking for dedicated drivers to join our energetic team atDartford, Kent working on our IKEA contract. As a3.5t Van Driveryou will be delivering furniture items forIKEAthroughout London, including central areas.

This is a full time, permanent role you will be working48 hoursper week on a shift pattern of5 days on, 3 days offover an8-week rota with start time of 5:00am.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Working as a Van Driver you'll be delivering to customers' homes with care, professionalism and great service - representing GXO and IKEA
• Multi drop deliveries vary between single person and 2 person team
• Driving throughout the London area, including Central London
• Ensuring vehicle and stock is properly secured
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
