Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring a 3.5t Van Driver to join our Wembley team on the IKEA contract. You will deliver furniture to customer homes across North and Northwest London, with multi-drop routes and a mix of single and two-person deliveries.

This full-time role offers 48 hours per week on a pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off, with shifts starting between 6:00am and 8:30am. Salary is £36,817.06 per year, plus pension, holiday, and opportunities to upskill via the GXO Driving Academy.

Qualifications

• A valid driving licence (max points not specified in ad).
• Proven driving experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.
• Reliable, with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical capability to lift/move items as needed.
• Multi drop experience is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to customers' homes with care, professionalism and great service - representing GXO and IKEA.
• Multi drop deliveries vary between single person and 2-person team.
• Delivering in North and Northwest London areas, including Stevenage and High Wycombe.
• Ensuring vehicle and stock are properly secured.
• Performing vehicle checks at the start and end of each journey and reporting defects.
