Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting a Multi-Drop Van Driver for a client in Oldbury, West Midlands. The role involves delivering and collecting recycling supplies from local offices and sites, with an 08:00 start, Monday to Friday, and a £12.71 per hour rate.

You will need a valid UK Category B licence, at least 12 months’ driving experience, and good knowledge of the UK road network. Full training is provided, and weekly pay is offered with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles.
No more than six penalty points.
Good knowledge of the UK road network.
Good level of spoken and written English.
Excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
Good understanding of UK traffic laws.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Carrying out waste recycling and waste disposal collections from local offices and commercial sites.
Delivering and collecting recycling supplies, including bags, bins and consumables.
Completing scheduled routes efficiently and safely.
Ensuring waste and recycling materials are handled responsibly.
Operating company vehicles safely and professionally.
Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
Ensuring all loads are secured correctly.
Adhering to all traffic and environmental regulations.
Providing excellent customer service to site staff and customers.
Reporting route issues or vehicle defects promptly.
