Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Multi drop Van Driver for a client in St Albans. This ongoing role offers an immediate start with Monday-Friday shifts starting at 07:00 and 8 guaranteed hours per day, paid at £13.44 per hour.

You will safely operate company vans on designated routes, load/unload waste bins, perform daily vehicle checks, and use in-cab tech to update routes and collections. A valid UK Category B license and ~12 months driving experience are required, with clean record and

• Must hold a valid UK Category B driving license.
• Around 12 months of driving experience on similar vans.
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only).
• Good level of English for reading and communication.
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vans on designated waste and recycling routes.

• Perform daily walk-around vehicle checks and report defects.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Driving: Safely operate company vans on designated waste and recycling collection routes.
• Loading: Collect, load, and empty commercial waste bins and containers.
• Vehicle Checks: Complete daily walk-around checks and report any vehicle defects.
• Technology: Use mobile devices and in-cab tech to update route and collection

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category B driving licence
• Minimum 12 month's experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Ability to speak and read a good level of English
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
