Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking a 2nd Line WINTEL Engineer to join a team of 2nd/3rd line engineers in a UK on-site role. You will review Windows requests, build and configure Windows Servers in VMware, patch systems, and ensure builds meet Fujitsu and customer standards while maintaining security and SLA adherence.

You will work from a service desk context with ticket-based resolutions, participate in engineering meetings, and may engage in related projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role advantageous.
• Ability to manage service desk tickets and adhere to SLAs.
• Knowledge of server builds, security standards and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Review Windows-related work requests with rapid turnaround.
• Build images and configure Windows Servers on VMware.
• Patching and upgrades of Windows Servers.
• Maintain security and compliance with standards; report risks.
• Attend Bi-Weekly Engineering meetings and support testing activities.
