Job summary

LA International is seeking a 2nd Line WINTEL Engineer to support Windows Server environments across 2016, 2019 and 2022. You will build and maintain servers on VMware, create gold images, and manage AD, DNS and WSUS with enterprise tooling.

You will patch, upgrade, back up critical infrastructure with NetApp Cohesity, and produce capacity reports. Strong ITIL/ITSM experience and DV clearance eligibility are required, with a path to security clearance prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Proven 2nd line WINTEL/Windows Server infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022.
• Experience with AD, DNS and WSUS; VMware environments.
• Experience with NetApp/Cohesity backup; PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM and Change/Release/Configuration Management.
• Security clearance or prior eligibility for DV clearance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line technical support across Windows Server environments.
• Build, configure and maintain Windows Servers on VMware clusters.
• Create automated builds, gold images, and build docs.
• Rack and configure physical servers in data centres.
• Patch, upgrade and maintain Windows Server platforms.
• Support AD, DNS and WSUS in daily operations.
• Investigate incidents and service requests using ITSM tooling.
• Back up infrastructure support with NetApp Cohesity.
• Monitor performance and produce capacity reports.
• Ensure Change/Release/Configuration/Security Management compliance.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and project delivery activities.
• Manage service desk tickets to meet SLAs/KPIs and escalate risks.
