We are working with a growing MSP IT company in the Worthing area who are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced 2nd Line IT Support Technician for their busy help desk.

Role: 2nd Line IT Support

Area: MSP IT Support Company

Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Responsibilities:

• Answering incoming helpdesk enquiries and providing assistance to the 1st Line Support team to resolve customer issues.
• Offering customer support for more complex IT, Network, and VOIP issues.
• Server configuration and monitoring.
• Ensuring professional customer interactions and meeting SLAs.
• Hands-on work with server and desktop products, networking components such as routers and printers, and bespoke applications.
• Potential client site checks, installations, and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Previous experience at 2nd Line level.
• Experience in MSP environment is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010-2019 & Office 365 Administration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 and Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019.
• Understanding of networking protocols and devices, particularly Draytek and Netgear.
• Experience with Telephone Systems is a plus but not required.
• Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
