Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer in Huntingdon to maintain and enhance core IT services. You will troubleshoot complex incidents, provide specialist support to the Service Desk, and ensure compliance with SLA/KPI targets.

You will work with server and virtual machine infrastructure, assist in CSI initiatives, and collaborate with 3rd line and apps teams. High DV Developed Vetting clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2nd line engineers perform advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Provide SME input on process and CSI.
• Liaise with customers to meet SLA/KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects with minimal supervision and provide status updates.
• Manage and maintain servers and virtual machines for high availability.
• Update certification of the network.
• Provide expert-level support to end-users and other resolver groups.
• Implements security best practices and responds to security incidents.
• Collaborate with 3rd line and Apps teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Resolve SD+ tickets per KPI/SLA.
• Perform periodic maintenance (PPM) of systems.
• Patch domains using WSUS and SCCM.
• Create and maintain documentation of system configuration changes.
