Job summary

Mackenzie Jones IT is seeking an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) in Rickmansworth, Buckinghamshire, for a permanent, full-time onsite role. Start date is immediate.

You will provide IT support across Microsoft 365, on-premise infrastructure, networking and end-user computing within a school environment, collaborating with the IT Manager and taking ownership of incidents to improve reliability, security and performance.

Qualifications

• 2nd line IT support with root-cause resolution capabilities.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience including Intune, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Active Directory / Entra ID administration and policy management.
• Experience with on-premise and hybrid server infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing IT support.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support across Microsoft 365 and on-premise infrastructure.
• Own incidents and drive timely resolution in a school environment.
• Support IT projects and infrastructure improvements.
• Contribute to reliability, security and performance of IT systems.
