Job summary

Carnival UK, the operating company for P&O Cruises & Cunard, is seeking a 2nd Engineer Officer. You will run and maintain onboard machinery, lead the watchkeeping team, and contribute to safe, efficient ship operations while traveling globally. Experience at sea is beneficial, but not essential.

Required: 2nd Engineering OOW Unlimited CoC III/2 for Motorships, STCW High Voltage Management training. Vaccination status per cruise policy may apply.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and dependable with a hands-on approach.
• Natural communicator able to adapt style to situations.
• Strong problem-solving and repair skills on onboard machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain onboard machinery to keep the ship safe and efficient.
• Lead the 24 hour watchkeeping team on duty.
• Travel to exciting destinations while gaining lifelong shipboard experience.
