Job summary

Carnival UK seeks a Superintendent, Nautical and Deck to lead marine safety and provide shoreside support for P&O Cruises and Cunard vessels. You will work with onboard officers and the Senior Superintendent to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will own a designated pod, advise on voyage planning, stability, mooring, and emergency response, driving continuous improvement of maritime standards. A STCW qualification and seagoing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• STCW qualification as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch is required.
• Experience implementing nautical and deck safety requirements in an operational maritime environment.
• Strong emphasis on compliance with international regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine safety and emergency preparedness across assigned vessels.
• Serve as shoreside lead for nautical and deck operations within a half-fleet pod.
• Provide navigation assurance across voyage planning, stability, mooring, tender operations and emergency response.
• Drive implementation of maritime standards and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
