Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran in Scotland is seeking a Catering Assistant to provide all aspects of food preparation, cooking and service in a hospital catering team.

The role is based mainly at Lochmaben Hospital with possible work at other community hospitals. Shifts include early starts (7:00) and finishing by 18:30, and weekend rolling rota.

Job description

A vacancy has arisen working within the Catering Team providing all aspects of food preparation cooking and service duties related to the provision of a high quality catering service to patients, staff and visitors.

This post may involve weekend working on a rolling rota. The earliest start would be 7.00am and latest finish 6.30p.m.

The post will be predominately based at Lochmaben Hospital but on occasion you may be required to work in other community hospitals.
