Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time catering operative to ensure a high quality, patient-centred catering service for patients, staff and visitors.

You will assist with food preparation, keep kitchens and dining areas clean, and support meal production, portioning, distribution and service, under supervision. This role is pro-rata to a 12.95-hour shift pattern with 7 on/7 off cycles, and duties include adjusting to a flexible work schedule. Anthony Hunter can be contacted for questions.

Days, Weekends, - This is a 12.95 hour 7 on 7 off post Lunch shift 11.45 – 3.30 shift starts Friday and finishes following Thursday, then 7 days off. weekly paid

To ensure the organisation provides Patients, Staff and Visitors with a high quality person centred and safe catering service. Assisting with the preparation of food stuffs and contributing to the operation and cleanliness of kitchens, dining rooms and all associated equipment whilst supporting the production, portioning, distribution and service of the meals and snacks.
