Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a catering assistant to join the Catering Team at Lochmaben Hospital, providing all aspects of food preparation, cooking and service to patients, staff and visitors.

The role may involve weekend work on a rolling rota, with early starts around 7.00am and late finishes to 6.30pm, and may require duties at other community hospitals.

Job description

A vacancy has arisen working within the Catering Team providing all aspects of food preparation cooking and service duties related to the provision of a high quality catering service to patients, staff and visitors.

This post may involve weekend working on a rolling rota. The earliest start would be 7.00am and latest finish 6.30p.m.

The post will be predominately based at Lochmaben Hospital but on occasion you may be required to work in other community hospitals.
