Job summary

Bield Housing & Care is seeking a Cook for the Campsie Gardens development in Cumbernauld to deliver high quality, freshly prepared meals while managing dietary needs for tenants in retirement housing.

The role is 14 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 to 18:00. We offer a competitive salary, enhanced pension, generous holidays, flexible working, healthcare, cycle to work, EAP and learning/training opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and managing dietary requirements.
• Ability to deliver high quality meals to tenants.
• Experience in a retirement housing service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a flexible meals service with high quality, freshly prepared meals within the development.
• Assist with ordering, purchasing and storing food within the budget.
• Ensure all food hygiene and health and safety standards are met and promoted within the development.

Cook Position in Cumbernauld !

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can learn new skills and deliver great food? Are you experienced in catering and managing dietary requirements?

The role of a chef/cook within our Campsie Gardens development is more than just cooking. You will be working with our team to provide a high quality of life for those that need it.

Hours of employment

14 hours a week - Saturday and Sundays - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

You will be -

• Responsible for the provision of a flexible meals service, offering high quality, freshly prepared meals and value for money to tenants in a retirement housing service.
• Assistingwith the ordering, purchasing and storing of food commodities working within the food budget.
• Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety standards set by Bield and where appropriate outside regulators are met and actively promote such standards within the development.
