About Croeso Pubs

Croeso Pubs operates a number of well‑loved community‑focused venues across Wales and the South West. We pride ourselves on delivering warm hospitality, great food and lively atmospheres that reflect the local neighbourhood. We are now recruiting for a part‑time Kitchen Manager to join one of our pub teams.

The Role

This is a 25 hours per week, part‑time position. You will lead the kitchen day‑to‑day, ensuring food quality, consistency and compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards. The role is hands‑on and operational: you will prepare and cook when required, manage stock and ordering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead kitchen operations across service periods, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety (including HACCP), COSHH and health & safety requirements
  • Control stock and ordering to minimise waste and meet budgetary targets
  • Support service delivery during peak periods and contribute to local menu development and promotions
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a high‑volume pub, restaurant or similar hospitality environment
  • Good working knowledge of food safety systems and proven experience of maintaining standards
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, ordering and rotas effectively
  • Excellent communication and team‑leading skills; able to motivate and develop colleagues
  • Commercial awareness with an eye for cost‑control and portion consistency
  • A positive, professional approach and the ability to provide strong references
