Qualifications

• Provide general non-clinical advice, information and guidance to patients, relatives or carers.
• Work as part of a 24/7 switchboard team with weekend and bank holiday coverage.
• Handle emergency situations and support out-of-hours services when required.
• Deliver efficient, courteous switchboard operations with emphasis on customer care.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Trust Switchboard and answer calls from staff, service users and the public.
• Carry out administrative and secretarial tasks related to the switchboard.
• Respond to alarms and lone worker devices; support on-call Consultants/Managers and trades on call.
