Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a professional security officer to provide a 24/7 security service across its sites. The role includes safeguarding patients, staff and visitors, maintaining CCTV logs in line with GDPR, managing a secure key register, and assisting with car park management and traffic flow.

You will liaise with the Police as needed, handle emergency calls, and use conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Provide a professional and effective security service for Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
• Maintain CCTV logs in accordance with GDPR 2018.
• Provide access guidance to the Trust CCTV system for police investigations.
• Operate a secure key register.
• Assist with traffic flow and car park operations in line with Trust policies.
• Liaise with Police as required and assist with incident statements.
• Use conflict resolution skills with distressed or aggressive individuals.

Responsabilités

• Protect patients, staff, contractors and visitors from violence and abuse.
• Protect Trust property from theft, loss and damage.
• Maintain CCTV logs and support police investigations.
• Answer emergency calls professionally.
• Manage key register and respond to security queries.
• Support vehicle flow and car park operations on site.
• Provide information to wards and departments to resolve security issues promptly.
• Liaise with Police and submit statements when required.
