Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a reception control room member to ensure effective functioning of safety and security systems within the unit. You will act as the first point of contact for visitors and service users, handling enquiries and delivering high-quality customer care across Birmingham's MSUs.

Based in one of our Medium Secure Units, you will work shifts across the 24-hour period, including nights and bank holidays, with training to become a first

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for all visitors and service users to the secure services.
• Respond to telephone enquiries in a professional manner.
• Cover 24-hour shift patterns, including nights, weekends and bank holidays as part of a team or lone working with support.
• Maintain safety and security provisions and respond to security breaches or emergencies.
• Provide a quality customer care service to visitors, employees and service users.
