Job summary

Thurrock Council is seeking two CCTV/Concierge Operators to join the 24/7 Control Room. The role involves operating CCTV and police radios, supporting concierge duties for high-rise flats, and presenting CCTV evidence to the criminal justice standard.

Night shifts and bank holidays are included. A CCTV SIA licence is preferred, with DBS Basic check. Generous benefits and hybrid working opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Operate CCTV equipment and radio systems.
• Prepare and present CCTV evidence to CJ system standards.
• Ability to liaise with Police, Council officers and residents.
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24/7 shift rotation including nights and bank holidays.
• Operate CCTV and Police/Council radios.
• Ensure CCTV evidence complies with Data Protection and GDPR.
