Job summary

Thurrock Council operates a 24/7 CCTV Control Room and a Concierge facility for three high-rise flats. The role involves working in a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights and bank holidays, operating CCTV and radio systems, and preparing evidence to GDPR standards.

You will liaise with Council officers, the Police, and residents, and require IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). A CCTV SIA licence is preferred and a Basic DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Operate CCTV equipment to required standards.
• Operate Police and Council radio systems.
• Provide concierge services for high-rise flats.
• Collate, prepare and present CCTV evidence for criminal justice proceedings.
• Be prepared to appear as technical witness in Magistrate or County Court if necessary.
