Job summary

Halfords is seeking a motivated Breakdown Advisor for its Stafford Support Centre. In a 24/7 environment you will handle commercial breakdowns, ensuring fast, professional responses and adherence to SLA.

This role sits within HCFS, collaborating with drivers, suppliers and internal teams to keep customers on the road. The role demands calm under pressure, decisive action and a customer‑centric approach, with a focus on KPIs for quality, accuracy and efficiency while developing sector knowledge

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown calls promptly and manage jobs within SLA.
• Use initiative and sound decision-making to resolve issues quickly.
• Engage with drivers, suppliers and stakeholders to support timely resolutions.
• Meet and exceed KPIs for accuracy, efficiency and service quality.
• Participate in training and development to support progression.
• Support the Team Leader with priorities and workflow improvements.
• Act as an ambassador for Halfords values and culture.
