Job summary

Royal Mail Group is recruiting for an Automation Maintenance Engineer to join the team at Romford Mail Centre. This full-time role offers a salary of £53,195 per annum along with additional allowances and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and performance of automation assets, ensuring operational efficiency.

Applicants should possess a minimum ONC Electrical Engineering qualification, along with experience in maintaining automation equipment. A flexible working approach is required to meet the demands of a 24/7 operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining automation equipment with a flexible approach.
• Qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC or equivalent).
• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and performance of automation assets through maintenance procedures.
• Perform maintenance tasks including preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Support Engineering Manager and complete end of shift reports.

Education
