Royal Mail is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineer at Leeds Mail Centre to ensure smooth operation of cutting-edge automation systems. You will perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with the Engineering Manager and team leaders to log faults and improve performance.
The ideal candidate has electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications, PLC knowledge, a solid safety mindset, and a UK driving licence.

Are you a skilled multi-disciplinary engineer looking for a role that challenges and rewards? We’re seeking a Automation Maintenance Engineer, at our Leeds Mail Centre, Leodis Way, Stourton, Leeds , LS10 1AZ site, to ensure the smooth running of our cutting-edge automation systems.
In this role your potential earning will be over £55,000 per annum and you may be eligible for a welcome bonus of £1,500, subject to terms and conditions.
Salary: £54,791 per annum, plus night shift allowance, equivalent to 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays and a defined contribution pension scheme. A Saturday (£54.17 per attendance) and Sunday (£109.47 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable.
Contract: Permanent
Attendance: Full time, shift attendance equates to 40 hours per week, 12-hour shifts on a rota basis to cover days, nights and weekends. The full rota will be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will be required to follow Leeds Mail Centre shift rotation system, with flexibility to meet our 24/7 operational needs , including voluntary overtime coverage and shift pattern flexibility.
