Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting an Automation Maintenance Engineer at the Romford Mail Centre to participate in a significant technological transition in parcel sortation. This full-time role entails preventive and corrective maintenance and requires an experienced multi-skilled engineer qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering.

The successful candidate will engage in continuous improvement activities while supporting the engineering team. A full UK driving licence is necessary as travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and improve automation outputs.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and fault logging.
