Asset Finance International is seeking a Business Development Director in Birmingham to drive growth through exceptional service. As part of a successful Commercial Finance Brokerage, you will connect with over 150 lenders and various clients.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience and a proven ability to grasp client funding needs. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £90,000 with uncapped bonuses and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to quickly grasp client funding requirements and match them to appropriate lenders.
• Strong credit appreciation and handling of credit processes.
• Experience in sales professional or broker role.
• Strong relationship building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with Partners at the Accountancy firm within your territory.
• Generate your own introductions from a range of introducers.
• Gain a clear understanding of a Client’s funding needs.
• Collate and package all information smoothly for the Lender.
• Ensure a strong appreciation of Credit throughout the process.

As a BD Director, you will have access to over 150 Lenders in the market with Clients ranging from SMEs to international Businesses. They pride themselves on their exceptional service offered to Clients, which has enabled them to gain their enviable reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with Partners at the Accountancy firm within your territory, enabling some of your client portfolio to be “ready‑made”.
• Generate your own introductions from a range of introducers.
• Gain a clear understanding of a Client’s funding needs to identify the correct Funder for each opportunity.
• Collate all information from the client and package it to the Lender smoothly and in an appropriate timescale.
• Ensure a strong appreciation of Credit throughout the process.
