Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking female Support Workers to provide compassionate 2:1 care to a young woman living with an Acquired Brain Injury. Your role includes engaging in varied activities, managing distress with calm assurance, and supporting independence in both her family homes.

The position emphasizes safety, dignity, and inclusive daily opportunities, with a focus on keeping her connected to the community and motivated to try new things.

Qualifications

• Experience in taking care of someone with ABI or brain injury preferred.
• Female candidates only as per client requirements.
• Able to stay calm and manage distressing situations.
• Reliable, respectful, and patient with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 support to a young woman with ABI in family home and Dad's home.
• Encourage active living, plan activities, and help with outings.
• Stay calm and reassuring during distressing moments.
• Support independence, dignity, and inclusion in community activities.
