Job summary

Active Care Group in Rainham, Essex is seeking confident, compassionate Support Workers to join a 2:1 package for a young woman living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). You will provide calm, patient care and help her participate in daily activities within her home and local community.

You will work Tue-Fri 7:00–18:00, with DBS check, induction training, and strong support from leadership. A full UK driving licence is preferred. Pay up to £18.00/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Genuinely caring, patient and proactive.
• Consistent and reliable.
• Confident supporting someone who may become distressed.
• Experience of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred, but right attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive care to manage distress moments.
• Assist with activities to promote independence and participation in daily life.
• Support outings and integration into the local community.
• Attend a meet-and-greet with the client and family before starting.
