Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for a 2:1 package supporting a young woman with ABI in Rainham, Essex. You will promote activity, independence and community engagement while maintaining a structured daily plan.

The role requires patience, positivity and the ability to stay calm during distressful moments. A UK driving licence is preferred; shifts include mornings across two family homes, with a meet-and-greet prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to stay active, engaged and connected to her community.
• Help plan and participate in activities she enjoys.
• Respond calmly and empathetically to distressed moments.
• Provide care at the client’s home and at her family homes when required.
• Attend a meet-and-greet with the client and family before starting.
