Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH and other needs. This community-based role focuses on safe, engaging learning experiences beyond traditional classrooms.

You will build trusted relationships, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and professionals to support re-engagement with education. A full UK driving licence and availability for three days per week are required.

Qualifications

• Empathy, resilience, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.
• Experience delivering person-centred support to young people.
• UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to availability of at least three days per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance before starting.
• Experience with SEN and SEMH.
• Experience with mental health issues.
• Trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored intervention sessions.
• Build positive and consistent relationships with young people.
• Monitor progress and report safeguarding concerns.
• Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams.
