Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 SEND support role in a Bradford primary school known for its focused SEND provision. The role involves supporting a pupil with ASD/ADHD, implementing tailored education plans, and collaborating with the SENDCo to adapt activities for inclusion.

Ideal candidates will have practical SEND experience, GCSEs in English and Maths, an enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred), and strong teamwork skills to thrive in a supportive setting.

• Practical SEND experience in care or school settings.

• Strong teamwork and proactive daily school life involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs such as Autism (ASD) or ADHD.
• Implement structured individual education and behaviour plans with the SENDCo.
• Adapt classroom resources to make learning accessible and engaging.
• Support emotional regulation and promote pupil independence through structured routines.
• Monitor student engagement and provide detailed progress notes to the class teacher.
