Job summary

Engage Education is recruiting Bank Staff SEND Teaching Assistants to work across partner SEN schools in Bradford. You will support pupils on 1:1 or small groups, helping with learning, communication and development while covering planned and unplanned absences.

This role offers flexible day-to-day work with a dedicated consultant, competitive daily pay, and opportunities to gain experience in a range of SEND settings. All roles require safeguarding focus and support for pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in educational settings.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is preferred.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across SEN settings, covering planned and unplanned absences.
• Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
• Assist pupils with learning, communication and development needs.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support staff and teachers and follow individual plans and school policies.
• Uphold safeguarding and pupil wellbeing during all activities.
