Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking compassionate Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 SEND support in KS2 classrooms across Leeds. Your role focuses on safeguarding, de-escalation, and tailored activities to help each pupil succeed.

Essential UK experience in UK primary schools, EHCP delivery, and a current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to update) are required. Randstad supports wellbeing, CPD, and weekly PAYE payments with holiday accrual.

Qualifications

• Direct experience within a UK primary school setting supporting KS2 children with SEND.
• Ability to carry out EHCPs and adapt tasks to learning speeds.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain a new check.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 SEND support within KS2 classrooms in Leeds.
• Support EHCP delivery and tailor activities to individual learning needs.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and build positive relationships with pupils.
