Job summary

Class Mate Education Limited is recruiting a KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD at a primary school in NG5. You will provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage the school day and build confidence.

This role offers daily pay of £100–£110 per day, a full-time September start, and a supportive consultant team. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers and SEND staff to promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with ADHD is highly desirable.
• Understanding of behaviour, regulation and individual support strategies.
• Patient, consistent and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD.
• Support access to classroom learning and activities.
• Use appropriate strategies to encourage focus and engagement.
• Help promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Adapt activities to meet the pupil's individual needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team.
