Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Billingham is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, helping access learning and behaviour support throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff, bringing patience, resilience, and strong communication to build trusted relationships and support the pupil's academic and personal development during term-time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour using positive strategies.
• Patience, adaptability and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
