Job summary

Class Mate Education Limited is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder at a primary school in NG3. You will provide consistent individual support, helping the pupil access learning, develop independence and feel confident within the classroom.

The role involves working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement individualized strategies, maintain safeguarding, and promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience with ASD is desirable.
• Understanding of individualised support strategies.
• Patient, consistent and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
