Gold Education Recruitment is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Colchester. You will provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, helping them feel included and ready to learn, and building positive relationships throughout the day.

This full-time role suits someone with prior SEND experience who can adapt to individual needs, support pupils with autism or ADHD, and work closely with teachers to create a safe, encouraging learning environment.

Qualificações

• Previous SEND setting experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD or communication needs is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 support in the classroom and during activities outside.
• Help pupils access the curriculum and build independence.
• Support pupils with concentration, emotional regulation and classroom routines.
• Work with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
