Vision for Education is seeking a patient Behaviour Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a child with SEND at a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead. The role focuses on helping the pupil access the curriculum, staying regulated and building confidence in class.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO, adapt tasks and resources to the pupil's EHCP, and contribute to a consistent, supportive learning environment that promotes steady progress.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children with SEND or additional needs.
• Patience, resilience and a calm, consistent approach.
• Ability to work one-to-one or in small groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional development.

Aufgaben

• Support the same pupil day to day, helping access the curriculum.
• Help the pupil stay regulated and build confidence in the classroom.
• Adapt tasks and resources to suit the pupil and follow EHCP/support plan.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress.
