Job summary
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking 1:1 SEN Tutors to support children aged 3-18 with SEN in Leamington Spa and surrounding areas from September 2026. The role includes 1:1 tuition in core subjects, with flexible hours within school times (8:00am-4:00pm) and opportunities to work in schools, homes, or community settings.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and SEN experience are essential. Competitive pay (£25-£35/hour) and ongoing consultant support are offered through Tradewind's specialist SEN
Qualifications
- QTS with experience supporting students with SEN
- Experience delivering core subjects (Maths/English)
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to individual learner needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to students with SEN
- Plan and deliver lessons in Maths, English, and Science
- Adapt lessons to learners' needs and EHCP targets
- Build positive relationships with students, families, schools, and professionals
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
- Create a safe, structured learning environment
- Work autonomously with support from Tradewind Tuition Team
- Flexible hours within school hours (8:00am-4:00pm) Monday to Friday
