Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified 1:1 SEN Tutor to support children and young people in Southam and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible hours between 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to work in schools, at home, or in community settings as needed.

You will deliver tailored tuition, plan engaging lessons in core subjects, and monitor progress. QTS is essential, and a full UK driving licence is preferred for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN and/or additional needs.
• Ability to deliver personalised education and adapt to learner needs.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and core subjects (Maths, English).

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to students with SEN.
• Plan and deliver lessons in Maths, English and Science.
• Adapt lessons to individual learning styles and EHCP targets.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, schools and professionals.
• Monitor and record student progress with regular feedback.
