Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate 1:1 SEN Tutor to support students aged 3-18 across Leamington Spa and surrounding areas from September 2026. You will deliver tailored tuition in Maths, English and Science, adapting to each learner's needs and EHCP targets.

The role requires QTS and experience with SEN, with flexible hours (8:00am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri) within school hours. DBS checks and driving licence preferred; enhanced DBS process supported.

Qualifications

QTS required and relevant SEN experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and core subjects (Maths, English).
Excellent communication and behaviour management abilities.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs.
Patient, compassionate, and child-centered approach.

Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions to SEN students.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Maths, English and Science.
Adapt lessons to learner needs and EHCP targets.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Build positive relationships with students, families and schools.
Work with Tradewind Tuition Team to support learners.
