Step Teachers Ltd is recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 11 student with ADHD and Autism. This full-time role requires dedication to personalised learning, behaviour support, and safeguarding within a busy school environment in Downham Market.

You will work closely with teachers and SEND staff to implement strategies, track progress toward GCSE targets and foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere, ensuring student welfare and academic engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with ADHD and Autism.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, calm and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support in lessons and across the setting.
• Support concentration, organisation and engagement in learning.
• Assist with emotional regulation and anxiety management.
